Dear Richland Two Families and Employees,

I'm just sending a reminder about a few  important upcoming dates, as we observe the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday and wrap up the first semester of the 2017-2018 school year.

Monday, Jan. 15: District Holiday — Schools and district offices closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Wednesday, Jan. 17: No Late Start for high schools due to first semester exams.

Thursday, Jan. 18: Half-Day for HIGH SCHOOL students due to first semester exams.

Friday, Jan. 19: Half-Day for ALL students — This is an early dismissal day for collaborative planning at the elementary and middle schools and a half-day at high schools for the transition between first and second semesters. Middle schools dismiss at 10:45 a.m., elementary schools at 11:30 a.m. and high schools at 12:15 p.m.
