15 students attend R2 Leadership Conference

6TH GRADE STUDENTS ATTEND R2 GIRLS LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

15 of our 6th grade students represented Summit Parkway at the Richland School District Two, Girls L.I.T.T. - Learning Interactively through Teamwork conference held on Tuesday, Nov. 21st at the Richland Two Institute of Innovation (R2i2).  This is the second year for this new mentoring initiative. Learning objectives include goal setting, having a responsible social media presence, healthy relationships, teamwork, dining etiquette, service learning and career awareness. The young ladies were accompanied by Ms. Jacobs, 6th Grade ELA Teacher and Nellie Jones, 6th Grade School Counselor.
