Important News from the School Nurse about Free Services

Dear Parents,

Our school partners with Healthy Learners, a non profit organization that helps children who are in need and without resources to get the health care they need. They are able to help children who have Medicaid or other private insurance and also those who have no insurance.

Healthy Learners provide eye exams and glasses, hearing evaluations, dental care, limited doctor’s visits, prescription medications and counseling services and or other health services. They will also provide a replacement pair of glasses for students who have lost or broken their glasses.

Healthy Learners can provide transportation for your child from school to their appointment if you so choose. There is no charge to the child or family for Healthy Learners services.
