TEDxYouth@ColumbiaSC

I'm Kevin Rabinovich, 16 year-old founder of TEDxYouth@ColumbiaSC, Columbia's annual by-youth, for-youth conference. This year's conference is taking place this Saturday, from 10am to 3pm in downtown Columbia at IT-oLogy, but I really need the help of Columbia's schools to get the word out to our most important audience: students.

This year, we'll be featuring 16 presenters from all around the world to give the presentations of their lives, and they'll be speaking on topics from neuroscience to engineering in schools to experiences at the Cavendish!

However, we need the help of schools to let students know about this once-in-a-year opportunity, so a representative from our team will be stopping by after school to drop off some flyers (already approved by Richland One, also attached), to be distributed to students. Please use every communication outlet possible to inform the students, such as morning/afternoon announcements, newsletters, and any other means of communication. Additionally, please show our one-minute promotional video over the school announcements or distribute the link to teachers to show in class: http://youtu.be/yD7KbzlY8Ek (download it at https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6cv-ENORk3BLXk1Nk45WEVRNms/edit?usp=sharing).

Thanks a lot,

Kevin Rabinovich, Conference Director
