Dropping Off and Picking up Students

Dear Parents,

This is just a friendly reminder about the procedures for dropping off and picking up your students.

In the morning, car riders should be dropped off at the front of the school, following the blue line. Students will come in the 7th Grade door and report to either the cafeteria or the gym.

The first bell will ring at 7:25am, and at that time students should report to their Home Room. The Tardy Bell will ring at 7:30am, and at that time, students will need to report to the front lobby to receive a Tardy Pass.

Parents, any time you come in to the school, you should have your current photo ID on you. For security purposes, even if we know who you are, you will be asked to show it every time you come to sign in the school, whether it be to observe a class, for a meeting, to go to the cafeteria, and even to go to the nurse.

When signing your student out, YOU MUST have your ID on you, or we will not be able to allow your student to leave school. This is to help ensure the safety of your student. We take every precaution that we can to keep your students safe. When an emergency contact is signing out a student, the parent/legal guardian must call the school or send a note. This allows us to know that it is in fact the wishes of the parent that the student is being signed out of school.

The latest that a student can be signed out of school is 2:00pm, and the latest you can call in order to get a message to your student is 2:15pm. We will be unable to sign out students or deliver messages to students after these times due to the fact that students are in transition and are preparing to dismiss from school.

We would like to thank you so much for helping us ensure the safety of your students!

                                                                  Sincerely,
