Dear Friend of Summit Parkway Middle School:

You are invited to participate in our annual Summit Parkway Career Fair.  The fair will be held on October 25th from 8:45 AM until 10:45 AM.  This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to talk with people in different occupations while increasing their awareness of the education and training requirements for various jobs.

If you (or your company) would like to participate, please plan to arrive between 8:15 and 8:30 AM on October 25th.  We will be in the gym, so you may enter through the gym doors located at the side entrance of our school or you may enter through the main doors where you will be escorted to the gym.  This year, we will need all those participating to bring in a picture ID (license) and our lobby guard system will print out a name tag for you to wear on campus.  You will be given one table for any materials that you may have.

The first group of students will enter the gym at 8:45AM.  They will visit the participants on a rotation schedule.  Each small group of students will be at your table for approximately 8 minutes.  The morning will be very informal.  You may talk with them about your occupation, demonstrate any equipment, distribute materials, and answer questions.  The fair will end at 10:45AM.  If you plan on handing anything out, we will have roughly 350 students come through the gym.
